Policy
Consent & photo policy
Kink and fetish spaces run on trust. This is how Skin in the Dark earns it.
On the night
- The host's rules come first. Every event sets its own photo policy (photo zones, wristbands, no-photo areas). I follow it to the letter.
- No candid faces. Identifiable portraits are taken with a clear yes. Crowd and atmosphere shots are framed to protect people who haven't opted in.
- No means no, and maybe means no. Say the word, wave me off or flag a host and you are out of frame for the night.
- Play scenes are private by default. Nothing is photographed during a scene without consent from everyone involved.
Before anything is published
- Galleries are reviewed and culled before they go live, with anything that could out someone left on the cutting-room floor.
- Explicit content is not published on this site or on Instagram.
- Photos are never sold, licensed or used in advertising featuring an identifiable person without their written permission.
Taking a photo down
If you are in a published photo and want it removed, use the removal form or email contact@skininthedark.com. No explanation needed. Removals are prioritized and typically handled within 24 to 48 hours, from both this site and Instagram.
